Newbie checking in from Connecticut
Hey everyone! First let me confirm that yes, we do have crappie up here too...lol. I've gotten some good info from the site so far and figured I would join. I mainly fish one lake here in CT where we stumbled upon crappie last year while fishing for panfish from the docks. I've always targeted bass on that body of water and was unaware there was such a good population of crappie there. Now the kids and I are hooked and try to get out there whenever we can. Lots of action right off the docks so we don't even need to take the boat out most of the time. The crappie here have started to move shallow again and we are looking forward to the fall fishing season.
