It’s like a dinner bell to dem white tails……ding ding.
Yeah. They know. Hunted the property next to a large hunting lodge. They would drive a truck around through their fields and throw out buckets of corn. The deer would walk toward the sound of that diesel truck. Much the same way cattle will follow the feed trucks
They get used to it and know it’s food.
let me be more clear , these are deer that are at the feeders before we get there during the middle of the day ....
they bolt off when we go in there like a rocket ship , before season they often stand around and watch us , not right now for sure .....:Rofl
I am for sure positive they know we supply the eats and likely even know our individual odor and even the sounds of the trucks ....
they often seem ok with us in the woods ,,,,right up UNTIL deer season begins ....:Rofl
I haven’t ever seen one stick close to our tractor when I am fetchn grub but the come a runnin when the spinner goes a slingin fer sur.
ours quit that running in blind when the feeders go off about 2 weeks ago , they about kill each other getting to them the rest of the year ...
they come in SLOW sneaky and heads on swivels right now and long after the feeders go off .....
AND the slightest ANYTHING will send them out of there like a flash ...
they know for sure is my guess ...
