sad day
Just getting my head adjusted to write this.
One of the first people I met on C.C and fished with for about 12 years died last month and last Saturday we granted his final wish. His ashes now reside with the fishes at Osbourne Ramp at Patoka Lake.
If any of you ever saw a couple of guys fishing the handicapped pier with a little red wagon to haul our gear that was us, however the last few years maybe you saw him in his wheel chair. Diabetes claimed both of his legs and I was happy to take him out whenever I could. We always had a good time together. I'll miss KEN KINSER he was a very good friend and fishing partner.(

Hey Wannabe,
I am terribly sorry to hear of your loss.Sounds like you were very fortunate to get know and fish with Ken.I would suspect there will be many pleasant reminders of him for you in the future. No doubt he was thankful for his fishing partner as well.Take care....

memories abound, we never caught a lot of fish, but that didn't matter, it was time well spent.

you were a lucky man to have someone to call a friend and who you enjoyed fishing with.

A good friend is special, and hard to find..Sorry for your loss..I wish I could say things get better with time..From my own experience, things will just get bearable...there will always be a void there....treasure the memories, and think of the good times..
