fished mon-thurs prolly cleaned 2 limits 1/3 male rest female 1 female had dropped her eggs rest were in different stages of development very few on banks most caught on bottom 8-10 ft. deep color did not matter highlight of week caught a 15 1/2 in measured on conservation rule looked like pullin a black football out of the lake have caught several bigger but none prettier and the great thing is the best is yet to come:biggrin

Got a late start but we made it through the rain and put the last of 3 limits in the boat with the dying light of day. Pretty nice day
Good report. I've had a similar pattern
Mostly females. Only the biggest were getting close. Males tails were not tore up at all. Should be really good mid to end of next week.
