Took advantage of the great weather this week hitting 3 different lakes on 3 different days. Have caught a bunch of nice fish from all of them, but none that top today's 14", 1.49lb. black crappie. Really nice quality today when you consider we were calling the 10 inchers "shorts" - lol

We were there yesterday from about 11-1:30. No live bait so I had to teach him how to fish jigs. He did pretty good with them as he was keeping up with me. Didn't hear how the fish survey went a week ago. We lost a couple of big ones at the boat, but were only getting 1 or 2 at each spot. Several boats fishing where I wanted to go.
