I favored Clouser and Thunder creek flys. The Thunder Creek got its name from a stream in central Wisconsin. He even used it on the Prairie River which is close to home. I was looking up different fly patterns when I found the Big Y Fly Co. out of Hood Oregon. The flys average $.79 to $1.59 a piece. They show a picture of the local woman tiers who they say they pay them well and they enjoy tying. Shipping is a little over $4. I could not believe my first order. When you put your choice in your cart a picture of the fly is next to cost and quantity. They send you notification and a copy of the cart order plus a thank you. They then notify you of time shipped and tracking. They even email you when it's delivered. The flies are received in small bags that are numbered in sequence. The orders contents are bracketed so the pictures correspond with with the appropriate numbered bag. They definitely dot their eyes and cross their tees. I emailed them hi-lighting their customer service. They have a lot of choices to choose from.
