I envy the guys up North that get to safely ice fish every year in there shelters. But I wouldn't live up there, too cold for too long!!

drove round hd fri morn did not see any ice holes punched hopin to see some so I can get chatt down here with his power auger? heated dock may be doin something ? 16 cars in parking lot??
Good ice on small conservation lakes in northwest Missouri 12 inches most places. Have to watch out for where geese have kept it open.
Saw some guys out on the ice at Clinton yesterday. They said they were doing fair. Had some nice big crappies. Ice was 5 to 8". They were by point next to boat ramp 2. After today, I don't think it will be safe with the warm temps and maybe rain.
