    Default Work area setup

I'm going to start tying hair jigs. I have an available room for this. Any pictures of your setup would be appreciated.
I only fish the two best days of the year, when its raining and when its not!

I paint and tie all my jigs from this small area. The glass piece is 12" by 15". I have most of my materials in this room that are stored in clear plastic storage boxes, 5.2 qts. Probably have close to 50 of those filled with materials and jigs that I have accumulated over the 30+ years I've been tying. Have more in one closet and the rest is in the basement with my molds. I have a lot of materials.. Name: IMG_5567.jpg

Dang Jim, by comparison, yours is really clean. I DON'T have a lot of tying stuff either, but am happy at the moment. I do have some stuff out in the shed that makes a motion into my desk area from time to time.I mostly take out just what I'm going to work with at one time. Here's my work area. Now mind you, this is a student desk, acquired a few years back when the college dorms were renovated. Seems plastic totes are popular. Attachment 496512Attachment 496513Name: 20241114_192319.jpg

I was embarrassed to show the rest of my room and desk area, looks like a tornado went through it. Have a quart size bag of duck jigs that weighed over 2lbs that I've been looking for and still haven't located them.

I keep mine in a duffle bag and just clear a spot off in the kitchen, to my wife's disappointment, when I want to tie a few.
