Default Can’t get my crinkle paint to crackle

Well,,,I ordered that activator to help my silver crinkle to act right,,,but I did t know how much to use say per 1 oz of powder ,,,so I added a small teaspoon and it did nothing,,mi added another, nothing, ,mi must have contaminated my crinkle paint by adding clear to it or something, ,it doesn’t do anything but turn grayish black,,,anybody know what’s happening here?

If you bought the crinkle paint it should crinkle without any additional crinkle additives. The crinkle agent is for other colors to supposedly make them crinkle is how I understand it. If you’ve done like JUNGLEJIM has explained and it’s not crinkling I’m guessing it’s bad and you will need a new one. I would also try contacting the seller in Ukraine and seeing if he has amount needed to add to colors for the crinkle agent.

Maybe too much additive or not a good batch. I split mine with Micanopy and he's having issues so I don't know what's going on. Will take a few pictures when I add some to a light pink I'm wanting to make to show what I do.

This shade of pink was already mixed, just adding the wrinkle agent additive. I put 3 blade fulls in the jar and shake the s**t out of it. Done. Will use it shortly and see how it turns out.Name: IMG_3342.jpg

Perhaps you need to use a different sized screwdriver.
