Send me a little of the additive and I'll mix a couple colors to see how it works. I've been mixing my colors using Rosies clear high gloss, wrinkle agent additive, some Pearl ex pigments and Pro-Tec powder paint. Some colors I add UV Blast if I want the paint colors brighter.

There is a very fine line between just the right amount and then too much crinkle paint. Too much and won’t tear apart. Seems simple as that but then can be a challenge to pull off. Can have a lot of wasted jigs trying to get the right amount. I bought all colors of crinkle paint a year ago with high hopes. Looks really cool at 1st but then after awhile meh. I haven’t used it in forever now and have no plans to. Sticking with the basics over here.

Originally, I bought all four colors of the crinkle paint but only the silver had the movement I wanted so I quit using the other three colors. Then I tried the wrinkle agent additive and had success with it so started adding it to more colors including the copper crinkle and it's one of my favorite colors now. No longer dipping in the crinkle powder but brush tapping it on last seems the best for me.

So Jim,,,,when doing a paint with the additive, do you have to use a covering of crinkle paint like silver or copper or can you use crinkle with say just 1 color like chart or blaze orange alone? Kinda of confused here if you use a base color then crinkle paint color plus additive

You don't need the crinkle silver covering if paint is treated with the additive, I just like the silver/black color on top of the head. You can use 3 or 4 colors of paint treated with the additive on one jig. Base coat is usually white or chartreuse yellow treated with the additive, then brush tap other three colors on top, nose and bottom. Or dip into base color, then dip second color over the base color then brush tap one or two colors. I brush tap most of the paint focusing more paint on the nose of the jig so when I bake them with the heads pointed up gravity and heat take over.
