I have painted 1000's dipping the heads as well. Never could get my fluid bed to work right neither.

Takeum, is there a way to dry wet powder. I am also struggling with the fluid bed.

Just finished an order of 8,500 painted jigheads all done with my fluid beds if they are working right they are awesome if your powder is heavy it can be a struggle but adding columbia clear coat will lighten most heavy paint and make it fluidize very well.

Now that's a lot of jigs!

No doubt Dave glad it's gone but another is on it's way and they usually order 20,000....gonna mess with my fishin for a few days.

Agree, I have painted ten's of thousands of jig heads using hand dip method. I know bed works, but not well for me. I use a propane torch as heat method, use caution as small heads will melt quickly.
