I use plain Jane round jigs with a coil collar for plastics. Pour my own and not to re-sell but for my fishing needs. I consider this just part of the hobby and not a job. Time is less crucial for me and good thing as I am sloooow. If you don't have the stuff to pour jigs buying pre-poured would be the way to start tying. But I do enjoy using different hooks for specific fishing needs and I can't always get what I want without doing it myself. Welcome to the tying community.
