    Default Custom jig heads.

Hello everyone! I would like to purchase painted jig heads with eyes on a sickle hook with no collar. Can anyone give me some suggestions to where to get something like this?

Round head or asprin style (with the flat sides)? wire keeper or not? and 3D eyes or painted on eyes? I have a few connections and do have a few 1/16 oz that I was going to take pics of and sell on here tomorrow. Off the top of my head I think they are 1/16 flat sided style with #2 sickle hooks and no keeper. I'd have to count but being as they are still in the bags I would guess its 50 chartreuse and 50 glow in the dark. Might have some of my little 1/48 #6 left too if you are looking for something smaller, I sold a bunch on here last year and just have the leftovers somewhere. I dont think I can officially make a listing in this section so if you are interested you can shoot me a message and I will give you first dibs.

I just buy the Cabela's Plated Jig Heads un painted. They come in a variety of sizes and weights. If I need to paint I use Testors enamel then finish with a coat of Testors Clear Coat. The paints are oil based so they coat evenly. No streaks and ridges like the acrylics. I prefer the unpainted so I can get the colors I want. If I need to modify a color I just mix colors together until I get what I want. Much easier to customize your jigs. I especially use this to modify my chartreuse colors (to lighten or darken them).
