With these heads the side closest to the hook is flat so I round it off with my file and the paint flows better, sometimes all the way to the hook bend before paint hardens. These are 1/8 and 3/32.

Just remember you can get lead particulate into the air when filing and sanding. Wear a respirator.

That's another reason I don't do a whole lot with the jig heads. I usually do all of my jig painting/tying at the kitchen table. Thanks for the warning.

Shoulder is much better, starting to fish heavier gear for hybrid stripers now. Got one over 9# last week that it put a strain on it and held up fine. Hoping for a bigger one soon.

It's an additive found on ebay called simply Wrinkle agent additive that another member found. I took a chance on it and it's working. A 2 oz. packet will make 6 kilos of finished wrinkle powder paint. I split the cost with him. Bad part now is the seller is from the Ukraine and don't know if it's available still with what's going on over there. I've mixed some new colors and added it to paints I already had and every color has the wrinkle/crinkle effect.

wow once again you have outdone yourself Jim! But you keep making these works of art and would have hard time using them as would be afraid of losing them. LOL.
