I start with a cold oven and bake at 350 for 15 minutes once it reaches 350. Gradual rise in temperature gets the layers of paint moving.

    Default Mixing custom paints

Pearl ex pigments are great. Trick is using less. Had only used the vein paint back when I was doing all my mixing w/ tons of clear and then taps of metal flake. Never came out as nice as what you got going on here w/ that “crinkle paint”. But I doubt the fish care what makes you or I happy anyways. Mixing custom paints
    Beautiful work.
I’ve got 6 totes of custom mixes mixed w/ stock colts too if anyone in LA. Wants to come see and make an offer

I like the Pearl Ex powders I've been using it alot. The gold is excellent. Get the System pack when they offer a 1/2 off coupon and it gives you 12 colors to start in the mini jars. I have found if you add glitter to it you need to add a bit more clear to keep it fluid while dipping.
