I think I need a powder paint tutorial. If anyone knows of a video that answers any of the following questions, please let me know. First, let me tell you about my set up. I have a homemade fluid bed, made out of PVC pipe, an aquarium air pump, & aquarium tubing and valves. I use the 2 inch powder paint cups. I use the Pro Tec paint. Ok, with that in mind, here goes:

1 It seems to me that the paint, right out of the bottle, is too dark & needs to be mixed with white or clear. But I have trouble getting the right mixture. How do you guys do this? Half and half, 2 to 1, etc? And do you use white, or clear, or does it matter?

2. I especially have trouble with yellow and Chartreuse when it comes to getting the color right. Any tips for mixing yellow and Chartreuse with white or clear?

3 How full do you fill the cups to get the right fluid-like consistency without volcanoes?

4 If you were painting blue heads, would you go for dark blue or sky blue?

5 Any other tips or secrets you have discovered?

Thanks
