    Default Pro-flake glitter coat


    Im having issues with pro flake glitter coat its starts running after I bake it is this just part of it or Is there anything I can do to alleviate this thanks.

    Never had this problem but mess with your time in the oven or the temp would be my guess. I do my flake at 395 degrees for 15 minutes.

    Hmm never tried that temp but it would not be an option with what i am painting since there is solder involved. I managed to salvage these after baking and cleaning off the top but like you said i think temperature is the main thing my toaster oven is not accurate.Name:  1228211631.jpg

    Ther could be a compatibility problem. Maybe solder flux and top coat causing a chemical reaction that is releasing into the top coat. This is not an area I really know about.

    If running you have put too much on. I bake all powder paints at 320 for 20 minutes. Are you using a fluid bed?
