    Default modify this mold

I got this thing some years ago and I want to change it back to the way it was by filling in the eye holes.
I also want to shorten it and fill the collars so it pours between 3/8 and 1/2 ounce with pure lead.
It doesn't help that whomever modified it did a really bad job getting the eyes even.
Thankfully I only paid like $5 for it some many years ago.
Can I actually do this? Is it worth it to do all this modifying instead of buying a mold?

Or is this mold actually worth keeping as is? The only thing I have done with it is to fill it with hot glue and that didn't go as well as hoped.

There are two ways that I have modified molds JBWeld and high temp silicone. Both work but the silicone is easier and requires no mixing. I get mine at Harbor Freight Sales.

I got that part, just need how. The eyes I am concerned with them coming out when I pour them.
I could just grind them off or just them off.

I would fill the molds eyes and collar and mod to what you want. You only have to grind/dremal one time as opposed to every jig. Plus I think grinding lead is more hazardous.

I would use JB Weld in the eye sockets. It’s not coming out once cured. High temp silicone I don’t know. Never worked with it.

So JB weld will stay in the eye things without coming out when one pours the lead?

    Clean it with acetone first.
