1/0 for all sizes. Even the little ones like it.

Looking at my stash I found several dozen 1/4 oz heads on #2 hooks left over from my winter time white bass fishing on Bull Shoals lake. I put one of my stingers on it. Is it too big for the bait?

Not at all to me. Actually that hook gets to the place on the body where it's very effective.

Dayne it is amazing how small of crappie and bluegill I have caught on #1 and #2 hooks and I have an 11.1 lb walleye caught on a 1 oz jig with a #12 treble stinger. They were short striking that day. The stinger is all that brought her to the boat. I certainly don't fully understand it all but when a fish wants that bait it will get it.

No. I use 1/4oz on windy days or deep water. Have used up to two 1/4oz double rigged.

One of my best summers on local lake I used an 1/8oz weedless with 2.5” crappie carrot tipped with 4” minnow. I wore them out for months casting to them.

Looks right to me. Doesn't affect the tail movement.
:I would like to thank the builders of docks for giving me a place to fish and lose tackle
