    lurecomponents.worthco.com

That web site has what they call ice blades. They are brass and you solder them to a hook. When painted they look really good and catch fish. A guy in a heated dock in oklahoma told me where he got his components to make them. They are a little different than the cast lead one but work the same.

That looks like a hook just dipped in plastisol several times until it is built up then the eye cleaned. That or they built up the hook shaft a little 1st then dipped it.

Fooled me. I’d have to see a better pic of it as not like what I’ve seen before. But does give me ideas for dipping hooks in plastic now!

I’d love to hang in your lab and watch you work.... I bet it would be amazing and educational at same time.

I don't know how they are made but I did buy 100 of them off EBay. They are deadly tipped with a small minnow or worm.
