On some of the disco colors I find there not to be enough glitter. Silver and pink are some of them. Here is some disco silver I added extra .008 silver as well as .008 silver holographic. Looks way better now.

Cool tip. Thanks DrNip! Disco silver is one of the colors I recently bought but haven't played with yet. Did you use the Protec glitter or another?

I use my glitter that I use for my plastics. Get it from Spike-it.

In above pic I added to disco silver. I have made my own colors by adding glitter to clear or to a solid color like black.

I have a two cup setup on my fluid bed. Whatever color I’m using and then the other is a clear. Once I dip my head into the color in 1st cup I then dunk it in the 2nd cup that contains a clear paint.

Why do you do the second coat of clear?

Extra layer of pop. Plus I don’t have time for all that extra clear coating with KBS and what not like I use too. Dip in paint color, dip in clear, bake and then gorilla glue clear the eyes on.

New question. Looking for colors and researching and heard do not store powder paint in any heat. Always store around 70 degrees. I have mine in waterproof totes in the garage. Should I find somewhere inside to store them? Anyone have trouble storing in shed or garage, etc....

Dave I have paint that’s as much as 10 years old, been stored in garage and shop from freezing to 90+ in factory jars and I have never found it to be a problem. Only thing I have found to really affect it is high humidity, when I have left a cup open on really humid days for awhile it wants to clump up some. On the rare occasion that has happened I set old fashioned flour sifter into a coffee filter then run powder through several times and that will break it up pretty good.
