I'm going to try this on the next jigs I paint. I also use it on the swivels with no troubles at all.

This is size I ordered for eyes. Got it in clear but wish I had gotten black. The clear seems to be tougher to get off than the black. Got this 100 ft roll pretty cheap off eBay.

Yes I agree on getting black but even then I get a lil over zealous and cook it on. I just grab the e-xacto knife slice it pull it off and throw it away. Not too bad and if I'm in a hurry I cut them all and go for no reuse on the tubes. I'm cheap but sacrifices must be made.

I always just cut mine off but found that clear to be a lot tougher. Don’t know what difference is but it’s tough stuff.

    I use these...

I guess I need to make a video. It’s really very easy. Hold the hook with my fingers, rotate back and forth over an alcohol lamp, transfer hook to pliers, dip/swish, done

The curved shape makes it really easy to dip them to the right depth.

When heating up hold the hook with your fingers then hold with pliers or whatever then into paint. That way your pliers or what ever your using to hold the jig won’t be hot and the paint won’t stick to it. Just wipe of with a rag ever now and then.

It works on regular heads but if your doing spinners or road runner use the shrink tube
