    Default DOLL THOMOSON JIG MOLDS

Is anyone familiar with the above jig mold. I recently came across some at an estate sale here in Tennessee.

    Any information appreciated.

Ledhed is our resident go to for questions on molds, he has more than a few. Give him a holler, though he’s been kinda scarce of late.

Nothing on molds but interesting tidbit.

Might give you idea of value
Doll Thompson’s Brass Fishing Round Jig Head Molds 1/16 oz., 3/8 and 1/4 oz. | eBay

I would say if you could get them cheap enough they would have some collector value.

Doll molds if they are the precision brass ones with the bullet molding handles were one of the premium molds of it's day . I have an 1/8 and a 1/16 . Good find wish I had found them . Once you get used to them you can pour pretty fast.

Yes, they were the brass molds with the handles you described in the 1/16 size. There were six sets in the box of stuff I bought.

    Sure wish I had a 1/32 and a 1/24 like the 1/16.

I poured a few to see how it worked. Very clean pour.

Thanks for all the replies and information.
