Should be some way to thin the epoxy
The clear coat I used on my crankbaits was tough and needed no thinning. I have to dig it out. I tried turning them but the clearcoat didn’t smooth like I wanted. I hung them and kept the eyes clear for about an hour and it was excellent. I could also add a real fine glitter to it and it looked pretty snappy. Solid black with a gray belly line and a spot of red and glitter clear and it was workin!!Ill get it out and shoot a pic of it, got it on Amazon and it wasn’t high priced either. A little went a long way.
Nice work. Air brushing will give you a endless way to paint the heads. I have a setup with a housing that pulls the over spray and fumes away and goes through a filter to clean the air. Really helps and I spray in my tying room with no problems at all. Look around and you will see a number of these on the market. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Nice work, Sally Hanson HARD AS NAILS will do it, I use it on all my jigs, works great and won't chip. No mixing or cleanup, just brush it on. For the bigger stuff, I use the 2 part epoxy.
