Default 1/16 oz 3D Eye Madness

I haven’t poured in a long time due to work but got motivated after seeing the last thread about 3D eyes. I decided to pour some 1/16 oz which I never fish with. Smallest I use is 1/8 oz. I decided to get outside my normal and try something different. I poured these last week with hopes of slip corking them today which I did but had limited success due to strong winds. I did catch a couple on slip cork and will try again when winds aren’t as strong. I was using a Crappie Magnet as I don’t have any plastic this small for technique used. I think I need to get some smaller plastic molds.

I forgot to add the jighead mold I used was a Jacobs 1/16 oz round head that I took a hammer to and beat each side of jighead flat to allow eyes. Came out great looking.

Yes they look very good. I’ve also found needle nose pliers have a flat spot that is easy to squeeze them flat as well. You do very clean nice work DrNip.

Good looking jig heads. Nice fish also. I usually take a pair of smooth jaw pliers and squeeze the jig head to flatten it for eyes

I also flatten the heads to accept eyes. It's quick and easy. Nice work.

    Thanks guys.

@Redge yeah he will be 7 next month. Daughter just turned 9. They’re growing up too fast.

@Mike1234 3/32 I believe. I’ll look when I get home later. If different size then I’ll repost correct size.
