    Default Fluid Beds

I just made my own fluid beds out of PVC and use brown paper for the membrane. Is it OK to leave your powder paint in the beds with a cap on it, or do I need to put the powder back in the jars when I'm done?

Kenny, when I used brown paper I always dumped mine back into jar. Just me thinking that paper could absorb moisture that would transfer to paint. Nothing to prove it just me probably over thinking it.

That is what my worry is as well. Better safe than sorry. I plan to put mine back in the jar. I bought 5-3" PVC spigot plugs from grainger and some 3" couplers to make mine. First time doing this. Just about got all my kit together to start tying. Thanks!

I make my own fluid bed cups using chamois material and I store the paint in them with a cover in place (pvc test cap). One cup for each color. I don’t have any storage issues, but my bench is in the basement.

I leave my paint in the bed. put a cap on it and put it in closet in my den. Paint stays fine in there.
