This is a Jacobs 1/8 oz I modded for a friend like 3 years ago. Still have a bunch poured up and I decided to start painting. His molds are by far superior to any lead molds do it has. Many say they don’t pour completely. Simply insert lead pot spot into the gate of each cavity. I actually now use this technique when using do its. You get a better head. No need sloppily pouring lead across the top of a mold like many do with do it’s.

BY FAR....the molds most likely to get thrown out a shop window if you dont have the patience of Jobe....lol...but they do make a sweet jig once you get its mind right...

1/8 oz pill head from Jacobs. I modified the non barb side to a wire keeper for a friend a few years back. Have a bunch poured from that and decided to finally start painting some. Have 1/16 oz too.

    Really like Jacob's Molds.
Would like to see the video.Doc!
You are the Doc on modifying Molds.
Some of Jacob's have had to open pour spouts a Little Bigger.
    Enjoyed.
    Excellent Jigs.

I read your post about that some time back. Started doing that with my Do-It molds and it made all the difference in the world in how they pour. Thanks for posting the info you do. PS a video would be fantastic.

very nice jigs. What causes the jacobs mold to have what looks like an air bubble on the back of the jig opposite of the hook eye?
