Yes, I am dipping in a jar until I build a fluid bed. I just don't understand why the one color went from a olive green to a brown when I baked them but the other green color didn't change.

If the powder tamps down it's not fluffy and doesn't go on easy and it's not mixed up so you may not have gotten the same coverage as the first one. Wouldn't worry too much though you'll get better with practice.

New guy here. Been powder coating jigheads the last year or so and like many others I bought the HF powder since it's economical.

This thread answered my questions on mixing ratios. I need to mix up some pink for trout & steelhead tonight.

    Thank you!

After seeing this old thread, I decided that I would give it a try. After looking at harbor freight online it looks like they only carry white and black paint now. Anyone else notice the same thing?

Yes black and white only now. The black is matte and the white is glossy.

Bignole. You need to try the new powder called Stardust,,,,it is like a soft plastic coated powder which once heated onto jig,, needs no baking,,,just stick on your eyes while still warm and is basically indestructible …comes in various colors including clear in case you want to clear coat your regular powder without baking…. Here’s a picture of what they call Stone Camo…
