Steve - Like Stump said you can build them any way you want - I had the bed in the first pic and a list of parts so that's how I put them together.

Stump - can you post a pic of what fitting your using on yours?? Cadman sent me instructions for a really big bed and I really like the fitting on it. I'll have to dig out the pic of it.

Doug this is the fitting. It isn't as big as the picture, it is 1/4 threads x 1/4 barb

I actually looked at that before I bought the little ones, but I don't have a drill big enough to get the starter hole going.

Doug I think I used a 1/4'' drill bit and the threads on the fitting threaded the hole.

Thanks Stump - that one in the picture looks a whole lot bigger than 1/4" that's why I wanted to check with you!!! Thanks!!

I'm wanting to try one bed with that nozzle as I got one of the paint cups stuck when I screwed it in and when I went to twist it off with the big Vise Grips it came off the base so I have it all cleaned up and have to re-seal it so might just as well pop the other one out and try this one!!

Welcome to the boards. Using the small air pumps you have to adjust the amount of air in each bed. You need enough air to make the powder paint boil or start to bubble. Watch a few videos on youtube and you will see what the powder should do when the air flow is right. On Fatmans build he shows a air flow adjuster value.

Thanks Stump - was at the Hospital for my BIL last night. SC - I actually have the 3 way valve and then I have 1 before the line that runs into it. I learned the hard way to have the valves closed when first plugging the air pump in!!!LOL No matter what pump you get make sure it is a dual nozzle, I show a Tetra Whisper 20 in the pics, but I took that one back for a 60 and it works great!!!

If you have any more questions just holler and we'll help you out!!
