Called Garmin today and was told the cv52 did not do side image and need a gt52 . Not sure what to do at this point .

Not really sure that what I have is a cv52 . I was given this transducer after unit was stolen and recovered without a transducer . Unit is on a tiller steer war eagle mainly to keep from running aground . Was told it was a cv52 . It does 2d sonar and down image . Unit has selection for sideview but does not come on .
