    does any one know if I can find the old mold , it looks to be a 1/16 or 1/8 , or could some one make the jig , thanksName:  IMAG0008 (1).JPG

    So far I have looked on E-Bay and most all mold sites and have found nothing , my wifes grandfather used this jig back in the 60es and 70es , we found this one in his old tackle box ,and would like to try some, thanks

    Contact Bugman at Simply Crappie, a member sponsor, who has done work like this before with good results. He’s a good guy too. He’s been known to be able to make a mold also.

    For just pouring a few (maybe 100) you can use Durham's Water Putty to make a mold. I've made several for striper jigs up to an ounce. It's cheap, like $4 for a can at HD or Lowes.

    You said you found one, but included a drawn pic. You do need one to make the mold.

    It is almost like a shad dart but on the front it looks almost like you used a round file to make a curve on each side not flat , thanks for the help. I may try to make a mold.

    i have seen that called a lipstick jig.
