Default WTB: Tying Vise and Tools

    Good afternoon!

Like the title says, I am looking to get into the world of jig tying. Was hopi by to find an experienced/seasoned vet that had a spare vice and set of tools laying around that they want to off load. Shoot me a PM or drop a response down below.

    appreciate it!

Welcome from Central Florida. Look up the jig tying and lure making forum and you’ll be in the middle of a bunch of like minded, jig tying, fishing type folks. One of them just might have what you’re after. And welcome to the addiction.

Welcome to the addiction. If you are looking to save money...buy jigs. Even if you pay $10 apiece for them in the long run you will save money. Once you start you can't stop. I started this past spring when Covid started and have spent 1000s and still buying. So many materials. Bought 3 vises. First one was $60 last one was $500. Got about every hair that an animal can grow. And about feather that has been in the sky.....what...I still want more.....

    Hahaha!!

I actually had someone reach out on another forum and have a vise headed my way.

with that said, I see what you are saying... between jig heads, chenille, marabout and what not... my first order was around $150 and I didn’t even get everything I wanted lol.

I do believe that was me...It will be in the mail Wednesday if everything goes right. I got you a vise and can throw in a Bobbin. would include a whip finisher but I only have one. Before I got it, A couple two or three half hitches always worked. I wont tell you what it cost to ship it, as its a pay it forward. Take what you think it cost and order you whip finisher. I'll send a photo of what I've found to be the easiest kind to use...Will PM the tracking number when it's on its way...Eric aka Jamesdean
