1997 Sylvan 16' Back Troller Select Deep-V Tiller
1995 40hp Evinrude manual tilt and trim 2 stroke with Tilt Lock. Run great!
1997 Shorlander Roller Trailer with swing tongue, storage box, and spare tire.
I bought the boat used about 6 years ago. Stripped it to the hull and rebuilt it into a fishing machine.
I moved the 30 gallon livewell from the port side to the bow. Added three seating positions on the bow. You can fish by yourself, or have a buddy with you. Each has their own seat base. I also added another huge rod locker under the cabin area. I stored 8 spider rigging rods; (2-16' rods, 2-14' rods, 2-12' rods, and 2-10' rods. Between it and the starboard side rod locker I had 16 rods in the boat this past season.
The 30 gallon livewell includes a bait tank. The 800gph pump is on a timer. the pump should be replaced, it worked intermittently last season. Easy to get to.
Also added a 12 gallon marine cooler in the back deck. Mostly for beverages, however it serves as a livewell too. Has it's own pump.
Minnkota Terrova 80# thrust TM, 60" shaft, I-Pilot, 24volt.
HB 899SI sonar unit up front. SI transducer is mounted to the TM and works as a poor mans 360.
Two group 31 deep cycle batteries provide power. I never ran out and trolled all day during tournaments. Minnkota dual bank charger keep them charged up and always ha the batteries ready to go the next morning.
There are two storage boxes for anchors, or other stuff.
At the captains chair is an HB 898C SI sonar unit. I have the transducer mounted to the transom. Both units are linked via ethernet cable.
Stereo with 4 speakers. For those time you want to rock out.
I used the trailer box to store 2 stroke oil, spare prop, bearing grease, fillet gear, etc.
Comes with extra prop and new in-box impeller an housing.
