Default WTB Quachita Stick Steering boat

I am looking to buy a Quachita stick steering boat. I used to have one of these and should have never gotten rid of it. I am willing to pay a fair price. PM me with any info. Thank you and GOD bless.

May I offer a suggestion? I had a 16' Duracraft Stick steer and, like you, regretted selling it. Main reason for selling was the ride up front was really rough if there was a chop on the water. I came to realize that the advantages far outweighed the rough ride, so I decided to buy another stick steer.
I ran across an almost new 16' Weldcraft with a 50 Tohatsu motor. This hull has a more pronounced V-hull and to my surprise and delight this boat is much, much smoother in a chop.
First time I put it in the water the wind was up to near white capping. Running just on plane around 22-24MPH it was very smooth and not at all uncomfortable.
So I would strongly urge you to give these a look. Admittedly, this was a blind luck for me. I just liked the boat and the price was good, especially with only 15 hours on the boat.
They are reasonably priced new, $15K brand new with 40HP 4 stroke + TM etc. so one a few years old is very reasonable.I

Thank you so much Searay. I very much appreciate your advice. The reason I was wanting to get a Quachita is because it does also handle rough water great. I will tho keep your advice in mind. Thank you and GOD Bless.

There's more than one manufacturer using similar names. My insurance guy ran into the same thing.
Here's the site for my boat.

    Weld-Craft ALUMINUM Specialty Boats

Mine is the 1648 V Stick

Here's a new one listed by dealer. It has a 40 instead of a 50 and doesn't have some options mine has but basically the same rig.
