WTB Elite 5 dsi lake map micro card
I know there is one out there somewhere. This is a micro sd card, 2g max, pre loaded with lake maps, that will work in my Elite 5 dsi. This was a popular unit 8 years ago and from doing a search I found CrappiePappy had a long thread back in 2012 dedicated to this unit. If anyone had this same sonar and still have the card let me know how much you need for it. Needs to cover Louisiana, I mostly fish D'arbonne, Caney and Poverty point when I'm down that way. Thanks.

Since they discontinued the unit, they've also discontinued many of the map cards that were compatible with the unit. I never bought a map card for mine, or I'd give it to you for free ... since my E5DSI unit is broken & has since been replaced with a Hook 7.Originally Posted by spartannation
I may or may not have told you this ... but, be very careful & gentle when putting the power cord in the back of the unit & especially when taking it off. DO NOT wiggle or bend the plug in either case, as you take the chance of bending the prongs out of alignment. You might get them bent back into position ONCE ... but, after that you are taking a big chance of breaking off one of the prongs. That's what happened to my unit (broke off the + battery prong).

Good advise, Pappy. I'll make sure I'm careful when I unplug it. I read most of the thread that you started on the E5DSI and learned a lot about the unit. Hopefully some one out there has a card they would part with.
