    So the FA still has the back reeling on/off switch? The newer models, FB I assume, do not have the back reeling switch, is that correct?

    As far as I have seen your assumption
    Is correct where the Stradic Ci4+ is cocerned. As far as the regular Stradic
    IIRC the Stradic fj was the last version
    to have a reverse switch.

    I have used the Stradic Ci4 1000 for several years and never noticed the switch. Two (2) them (1000FML) have the switch. The latest one doesn't. I have never back reeled, so I never use the switch. Drags are super smooth.

    These reels do indeed have a sweet drag.
    Some of us fish waters that have big stripers,spots,
    and large mouths that don’t know that they are not supposed bite
    crappie lures. In this situation you might want
    to see what’s on the other end of your line.
