    I had an amazing moth on Shenango lake this year. With the new size and especially the creel limit, the crappie size is more plentiful. I’ve always been able to find the bigger fish in October and November but now they’re everywhere. More guys are doing better than ever now. My number of two pounders this fall has been best ever. Over fifteen and topped off with a three pounder. The reduction from fifty to twenty is the main reason I believe is responsible for this. Those thirty fish are growing pretty good.

    Looks like the lake responded well to the creel limit change. Is there a size limit too? I’m across the state, but I’d really like to make a trip to western pa and hangout for a few days and try this lake.

    We have a 9” size limit on Shenango as well as the creel limit of 20 crappies. Go West young man!
