    Default Not a fishing post

Tis the season for the Bucks to find there lady friends. I watched several small groups of deer ( doe) running back and forth this morning and the boys were in hot pursuet , I have found mother nature seems to be related in many ways but not sure if this means anything towards our fishing. It was 72 deg. this afternoon in South Central Pa. Wishin I was fishin!!!

I watched a nice 8 point push a doe past me yesterday. They sure are getting creamed on the highways around here. Tis the season.

I do believe mother nature tells us a story. Usually a little piece at a time and fall weather has to change water conditions Water temperature is obvious. change the PH of the water and it can change water clarity do to leaves and such.
Also photo period shortens and makes most animals-fish go on feeding sprees. Vegetation is its max so there can be plenty of cover for small fish to survive.
I decided to give Lake Marburg another try. Well after 2 hours and several spots bank fishing I did not get skunked. Myclaim was a 5 inch yellow perch. Personally it has been 10 or 15 years since I had a good day on her.

It has been a strange year for weather here. Saw 85 degrees Sunday. It was hot October had us in the low 20's. The warm spell has been good for the deer. As it keeps some vegetation growing. Not a lot of soft mast in my area this year
