    Very cool pic! Great fish! I love them 16's. You think you got a bass at first until you see them pop the surface.

    At night they can fool you for a cat for the first 10 seconds.

    Did you net it or hand land it?

    Decided I didn’t want to stay up that late driving in that crazy traffic and sold our game tickets. Watching them dominate NC right now. Let’s go Pitt.

    I put on my ice suit and braved the 40*temps today. Was actually in the 30’s when I started but warmed up a little before I left the lake. Lake is still dropping but the fishing was pretty dadgum good. Caught close to fifty crappies on jig and nibbles, casting and long lining. Mostly casting. Kept five for myself and gave the neighbor the other 15. On the water at 10, off at 1:30. Headed out in the morning so I left them biting.
