I caught one more keeper from shore just after you saw me Chaunc. The wind kicked up again and shut them off in that area. I did pull in a keeper perch as well. Good for a decent fresh fish fry. All were on pink and white tube jigs. With a nibble of course. I look forward to the improving action after I get back from next weeks trip to Florida.

Hey Gary, I checked every fish I caught today and none had your name on them. Haha. I had a good day.

If you look really hard and CONCENTRATE..... you can see a few of those says GARY. At least that's what I see.

Got out around nine after it warmed up a little. Did some scouting today. Checked the campground area on the trestle side and the duck pond. Took some nice fish in both spots. Jig and sliding bobber took most of the 15 I kept. Left them still biting. Gonna check around the corner on the side facing 18 tomorrow. It’s a little early but I’m still going to check. May head to the golden run area after that. Here’s a couple I got today.

Did you notice the bug hatch? They were all over the surface in the bays I fished. Fish were coming up to the top eating them on the surface.

Yes I did! In the morning I did , then the wind picked up just a little and fish went deeper. Caught the nice ones suspended 8-10 down over 15 to 20 of water mainly relating to brush near creek channel. Bugs didn’t look like mayfly
