Default Tuff day on the Clarion River!

Lines were in the water early this morning. Water level was stable but very murky. It has been a bad year for us so far as time and weather has been our worst enemy. Was able to scratch out a 17in walleye,2 really nice crappie and a few perch. Caught another 10in walleye and a few small perch that went back in. Nice to see the small walleye, another year class.Name: 20210724_130645.jpg

Nice mix of fish. Is the river higher than normal, with all the rain we're getting? Thanks for sharing the trip with us.

Last weekend it was high and the color of chocolate milk. Water level is normal now but the water was really murky. Your right about the rain, that has really put the damper on the fishing. The trouble with the Clarion is all the rain that they got up north eventually runs down here. This is the first time we got to fish it in weeks.

Looks like it could be a very pretty piece of water. Enjoyed the photos.
