    Default Heat wave

Be careful out there in that heat that’s coming this week. Drink plenty of fluids and if you start felling dizzy, head for the shaded shorelines or better yet, get off the water. Us older fellers can’t do what we used to do. We could fish all day in the heat but age has changed that for me. Stay hydrated and enjoy your day fishing.

Good thing I have been getting limits on shenango crappie to overcome heat.

I get my limit on mosquito lake then come over to hartford for another.

This heat has turned the fish bite on fire.

I wish I did not have to work...lol

Rigging up a beach umbrella directly over your head is a big help.
Keep it as low as possible so as to get better protection, and be sure to tie it down, otherwise it will be gone.
I use one year round here in Florida, otherwise i couldnt fish.

I bought one of these to put on the boat to move a little air. I have tested it out, it will run 6 hours on high on a 5ah battery. Moves quite a bit of air

Weve had more than enough air coming from natural sources, but that along with the shade makes a big difference.
