Have you done a search? There is a lake by Mercer, that is the same way.
Looking for information about the Fishing in the Lakes at Treasure Lake in Dubois PA.
These lakes are about 10-15 minutes from where I live and I figured that maybe I should check them out.
I know I would have to own property there or fish with someone who is a property owner.
What fish species are available, and how is the population?

Mercer is about 1 1/2 hours drive from here as well as Lake Wilhelm. Most lakes that I could fish for crappies are at least an hour away.
I was just thinking that being real close to my home the Treasure Lake fishing might be more convenient for a quick trip when I have a few hours.
Before I would make a commitment to purchase a lot there, I was hoping that someone could tell me from their own experience how the fishing is.
From what I'm seeing, that is a gated community. There is a club there, for hunting/fishing. Maybe if you joined it, that would give you access. Is there any parts of the lake, that can be gotten to, without being on someone's property? But the lake is 380 acres. And think the state is involved with it, probably for stocking. And if they stock it, then it should be open to the public.
Sent an email to the local bait shop owner. He indicated that the fishing has been very good the last couple years.
The lakes have Crappie, Yellow Perch, Bass, Walleye , Bluegill, and Pike. There are 2 Lakes for fishing (Treasure Lake and Bimini Lake)
Treasure Lake is unlimited HP and Bimini Lake is 10 HP max.
I have messaged the Treasure Lake association about whether they offer yearly passes for fishing. I will let you know what they say when they respond.
My brother used to live there at least 10 yrs ago, I don't know that he ever did any real fishing though. I remember at one point he had a canoe he paddled around on.

Zimmy,
Fished Glendale today. It was real windy and we didn't catch much. Wind was coming right up the left branch.
Other boats we talked to had similar results.
First trip of the year. Not a good start.
Water temp was around 56.
