Thread: Icefishing

I checked Laurel lake in Cumberland co. 3 days ago and there was 6 inches of solid ice with over 30 fishermen on it. It is up in the mountains and protected from the wind so it does freeze up earlier then most lakes in my area.

Got out this afternoon on a small pond. Put 10 keeper gills in the bucket out of around forty. Ice is six nearer to shore and four out farther near the middle. Fish were in eleven near weeds.
