For Shenango, if you go to the dam, they give tours, or at least use to, they have maps for free(?), that are on paper. It gives you all the info, plus where they put cribs, and possibly xmas trees too. Have had one for years, that a neighbor laminated for me, so of course, it isn't current with newer ones. But is still a valuable tool.
Npt sure, but the tours might be only on weekends.
Thank you. I will check that out.
Here is an idea of what you can expect at Shenango and Pymatuning. PFBC survey netting results. May have more recent ones soon.

Many local bait shops have good maps. Hot Spots is the brand I think. $12.00 ?

Thank you! Interesting results. Looks like Shenango has a healthy population of crappies and Pymatuning has more walleyes and yellow perch. I will have to take a trip there soon to check out the bait shops.
Did a search on "Hot Spot Fishing Maps". I was able to order waterproof maps for Shenango, Pymatuning, and Wilhelm. All were under $12 each. More maps for other lakes are available. Thank you for the information.
Gdengr, can you make a new post, sharing the link for the maps? Then I can make it a sticky at the top of the page.

Welcome to the site. I live in the Brookville/Summerville area. Pretty close to where you live now. I love fishing lake Wilhelm. My brother and I do very well on crappies there, you have to sort through the little ones there but there are alot of quality fish there. Closer to home,we fish the Clarion River alot for walleye and perch and there are alot of big crappie. We mostly troll there for walleye but we pick up alot of huge crappie and perch. We do very well on all three there.
