    Default Be Aware

Shenango Lake is down over 3 1/2 ft below summer pool. With the storm we had on Sunday, there may be limbs floating in the water. But it may have also put some new fishing spots in the lake as well. Pymatuning may be the same way also.

Just posted the NWPA report. Apparently the storm on Sunday hit a wide area, all the way to Erie, but don't know how far south and east of us. So watch out at any lake, you might be going to.

Lake is fine. Nothing floating to watch out for. Fish are still biting good even with the high winds. Just fish the areas where the wind can’t get to. Got a nice limit today. Fished 6 spots. 5 of them were out of the wind. Tomorrow is supposed to be less wind but a cooler day.

Yes it's a shame. You can't come, nor us leave, unless we all want to go thru testing, and staying home for 14 days. WVSkip, where do you live? Guessing near Pittsburgh, over the border.

Had an outstanding day on the lake Saturday. Caught my limit and culled for three hours. Put some really nice slabs in the box. No floating debris at all. Water was pretty clear for this time of year. Fished a jig and bobber in eleven foot over brush, six foot down. Non stop action all day. Left them still biting.

Had an even better day to close out my boating season Sunday. A healthy limit of 12 to 14 inchers. Putting my boat away today. Hard to do when you leave them biting. The good news is I can get to them by shore but I’d have to walk thru the woods and they’re hunting in my area. Got my orange gear but I don’t want to disturb the hunters.
