    Default Pa deer season change

Just a reminder that Pa rifle deer season will come in this Saturday and will have a Sunday hunt also. It never hurts to wear or at least have a orange hat when fishing or doing any outdoor activities. Be safe!

It will probably be noisy in my area. Not looking to Sundays, with guns going off. I like it peaceful and quiet then.

Yes I agree that the change does not effect me. Being retired any week day works if I want to hunt or fish. I do understand that people have to work Monday - Friday so this gives them a extra day to hunt. However I have heard if they allowed Sunday hunting I will post my land. I just wanted those who did not know the change to be care full as this Sunday will be hunters with rifles in the woods.

You need to go look at the regs. Neighbor told me that instead of signs, you just paint trees, and if in the open, guess you hammer stakes in, that are painted. But I don't remember the color he told me. He said that whatever the color is, it is very easy to see.

That color would be purple. I am not sure how it was chosen, but there is a lot of fresh purple paint out there.

I thought Ohio made up its mind on Nov 3, but Pa is still debating? lol
Anyway due to the virus, this is only the second time since 1947 i will miss the Pa buck season.
Just to risky for me to expose myself for both the long trip both ways from Fl and the stay there as well.
But somehow we all made it when we had to take time off to hunt.
And only time will tell if the change brings about more excitement over hunting.

If it’s anything like this fishing season it will. More people out fishin this time of year than I’ve ever seen in my life. Glad I don’t hunt.
