Went to Wilhelm this evening. Bunch of short crappies. 1 nice crappie and 1 walleye on a pony jig spinner. We experimented long lining jigs today. Learned a lot. It was a brain burner today. Bright sun and no wind. Next trip will be Pymatuning.

Fished Wilhelm today and had a pretty good day. Caught alot of small crappies but we still put 20 keepers in the box. Most came from 16 to 18ft of water. Launched from launch 2 and there were alot of boats but everybody stayed out of each other's way. Have to give a big shout out to Chaunc because he told me about crappie nibbles on a jig. I purchased a few jars of nibbles and used them today and I had a blast. I will always have them in the boat from here on out. Thanks Chaunc for the advice.

I know after watching Brushpile Fishing season 4 Episode 08 I always have nibbles in the boat. That show stars Mr. Ken Smith aka chaunc on Shenango Lake. Watch it if you haven't. Watch it several times if you want some useful info.
Thanks fellas. If you want to know my technique I developed, check out this months issue of Pennsylvania fish and Game magazine. Darl Black did an interview with me while on the water. It’s called Hang gliding. He tells it all and I mean everything. Good read. It’s not online tho.
