    Default Got a question

Is everyone happy with how I now post the lake info for Shenango? Also some, sometimes post remarks there, or likes, and that is okay and good. Reason I mention that, is because Chaunc left some pictures there, yesterday, of catches. That is at the end of the April posts. So if you don't ever look there, then you might be missing out, on some posts.

Remember that I'm always open to other people's ideas, if you have any.

One more thing. The other day, I saw a post by a new member, that lives in Pa. So I welcomed him to crappie.com, and also invited him to come check out the Pa board. He was unaware of state boards. So, if anyone ever notices a new member, you could invite them here also. I just have a habit, of looking where people are from, when reading posts, of I might have missed it.

I check in here at least once a day. That's a labor of love posting Shenango lake info S10 and I thank you for it. It's rare that I have a sink full like chaunc but I'm figuring on posting more pics when warmer weather settles in. Thanks chaunc for sharing so much. Stay Safe!

I think you do just fine on your posts. I wish we could get information on Wilhelm and Pymatuning like that. I fish Wilhelm more than I do Pymatuning and I'm at a disadvantage to get information about either because I live in Jefferson County and my biggest enemy is time and distance to travel. I don't get to fish either as much as I would like to. I'm hoping to retire in a couple of years and I can remedy that problem.

I live just up Rt 19 from Wilhelm, maybe 20 minute drive to the marina. After what I saw over Pymatuning today I figure on starting down there soon. I'll gladly post results. Wilhelm is a good option for me if the wind is blowing anyway except from the NW.

I was on the south end Of pymatuning with my buddy we had one boat come close by but that was it. Ended up taking home 12 (caught 22) and boy am I rusty I probably missed another 12-14. My buddy had 1 on and missed him. (I don’t understand how he can’t catch fish) I didn’t take pics but I will take some from tomorrow’s haul. Still slow on the south, but they are there. All fish were decent size but not huge, the biggest was 1.4, mostly all males, just a few females. Early they were spread out, but you had to be on the wood once the evening progressed.. fished from 5-8pm... thank you weather for staying warm tonight, tomorrow should be better...

If your on Face Book, I have seen a link for Pymatuning group, but never joined, as I have enough things I do, that I also like to do. Also don't know if I could bring a link here, because you would have to go there to see it probably. Since Pymy is part of the Corp of Engineers, as far as water flow, you would think they would post info. Is Wilhelm also part of what the Corp controls too?

Only thing I can find is information on Pymatuning is Shenango River below the dam at Pymatuning. I do not believe Pymatuning or Wilhelm are considered flood control. I think flood control is the key to determining what daily info is available. Robinson's Bait on Facebook has about as much "daily" info available. Wilhelm is lacking any info that I've been able to locate online. Just try getting a fishing report on Kinzua Dam. You can get info on the river below from the Corp but any sort of fishing report on the lake is scarce.

Ended up with a great mixed bag of white and black crappie today. Went out around 2pm and honestly the first 2-3 hour were down right miserable, I think my buddy and I only caught 3-4.. at about 5 the light switch turned on and you couldn’t do anything wrong. Fished 4-5 fow and once again wood. The weeds to my surprise are non existent on the south end?? Surface temp reached 60 where we were fishing And hopefully tomorrow am will yield a decent bite even though the temps will fall!! Happy fishing and hope this helps you!!cant upload I do not believe not enough reception!Name: F12E6919-73A2-4500-A221-A0CC00736562.jpg
