Thanks for the kind words and prayers for my wife. It is day 3 and she seems a lot better. Her fever is down but is taking meds for it. She took her first shower in 3 days. Yes she was that sick! She also was able to eat a little broth last evening and hold it down. I can not express my thoughts on how sick she was. She is 70 but very healthy normally.
It is good to hear people are using common sense. I want and need to go grocery shopping in a few days. However I will not. A young man that I know has offered to go for me. Wow! Not all young people are irresponsible.
Please try to keep your distance from others and use common sense.

It's been 20 years since I fished the first day and called it combat fishing. Just not worth the aggravation and prefer the quiet alone time on the stream. Avoiding coming into close contact with others is my #1 priority. Doesn't matter if it's fishing or grocery shopping. Being in that high risk age I'd love to get about 20 -30 more years out of my lifetime license. I wish you all good health. Be safe on the water or wherever life leads you.
I hear you, but at my age maybe 20 tops! LOL I have one of the good grandfathered lifetime licenses where the trout stamp really IS for life, not the current “lifetime lite” stamp. I’m just waiting for the stream to come up a little more in temp and start chasing the pans and some smallies!

We were able to get my wife tested yesterday. I ended up calling our local county commissioner as no one in the medical field knew where or if my county even had a test site. My hats off to there quick response with good information. It took 4 hours from when she filled out her paper work and got tested. She was also tested for the regular flu and that was negative. It will take 4 or 5 days for the test results to come back . However she is felling much better and able to eat a very light diet. She is still quarantined and I have no contact with her except to get her food and other needed items. On a some what funny note we have one bathroom and currently it is hers. It is a good thing we live in the country and have many trees. I think they will grow very well with all the fertilizer I am giving them. Also I made a home made shower pump from a pump up sprayer. Not bad. It is kind of like camping. Hope all on the site is well.

Boy the wait, for the results to come back, isn't something I would want to go thru. Will keep her and you in my prayers, until she is all thru this. So you took her to get tested, and if she has it, you also have a chance of having it too. Please keep us posted. You know you can make a potty, by using a 5 gallon bucket, line it with a plastic bag, and then put a pool noodle around the top. Use cheap cat litter in it.

Thanks S10. Yes but you have to get rid of the bag of crap! I do have a pee bottle inside. I also have a home improvement business and that can come in handy especially for a 65 yr old man.
Yes it is possible I am infected however I have taken every precaution as they would in the hospital. My doctor said it has been over 7 days today so it is not likely. I stopped for groceries after she told me I was OK to go if need be but was more worried about me getting infected from a stranger then me passing it on.
Karen my wife is getting much better. She even ate a small lunch today. A half sandwich, some grapes and a piece of celery. I think she even used the hair dryer and did a little extra to it. She asked to go and sit on the porch in the sun also. I can imagine how that was a real treat instead of being in her room 24 hours x 6 days. I guess no mater if she has the corona virus or not the treatment will be the same at this point. However she will be quarantined another 7 days after her fever is gone with out meds and she feels up to it with corona v.

Prayers to your wife and you, AA. My wife and I are laying pretty low and when we get out for a walk we are very careful to stay away from anyone!

That sounds like a good plan. If everyone would do that this could shorten the pandemic. In times like this to consider yourself and family first. However we are all in this together. Thanks for your prayers. We should know tomorrow if the test is positive. No matter what she was seriously sick and I have a deeper fear of what is going on.
